Wolves sign a full-time contract with Ait-Nuri after a lease period

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed left-back Ryan Ait-Nuri to a permanent contract with Angers, the Premier League club said on Friday.

The Frenchman signed a five-year contract after making an impression on loan at Moline last season.

Ait-Nuri, 20, who played 24 games for the Midlands under former manager Nuno Espiritu Santo last season, became the third subscriber of new manager Bruno Lage ahead of the new season after Yerson Mosquera and Francisco Trincao.

“We think Rayan is a great proposition for a football club,” Wolves CTO Scott Sellars said on the club’s website.

“Last season he proved that he is a very talented player with a lot of potential. I thought he had done well and continued playing towards the end of the season.

“He is a player who has yet to recover. He’s a good boy who works hard and (already) has a good job here. “

In the meantime, Wolves defender Ruben Vinagre has joined Sporting on loan for the entire season.

This is the 22-year-old Portuguese’s third loan away from Moline after playing for Olympiacos and Famalicao last season.
