Soif, a liquor store and wine bar will open in September at 1147 Loma Ave. The 1,250-square-foot property will feature an open-air patio with olive and lemon trees.
“I’ve wanted to open a liquor store for several years, and every opportunity was a major obstacle when I was in Los Angeles,” said owner and sommelier Alicia Kemper. “However, when I found a place on Lome, I immediately felt a connection with this space, and although it was a path to open the doors, I could not imagine my dream coming to life elsewhere.
