Warren Accepts Applications for Mortgage and Rent Aid Program – Macomb Daily



The City of Warren is currently accepting applications for the Mortgage and Rental Assistance Program. Benefits of up to $ 6,000 are available for eligible residents affected by COVID-19.

Funds are paid directly to homeowners or mortgage companies on behalf of eligible residents.

Applications can be found on the city’s website – cityofwarren.org – under the Community and Economic Development tab. Paper applications are available at Warren’s City Hall at the Community Development Office located at 1 City Square, Suite 210 and at Warren Civic Center South, hated at 23345 VanDyke Avenue.

Applicants will be processed on a first come, first served basis until the program funds have been exhausted. Completed applications can be mailed by US mail or delivered to the following addresses:

  • US Post – Developing Community Attention
    City of Warren 1 City Square Suite 210, Warren, Michigan 48093
  • CUT OUT to the Community Development Department at Warren City Hall (2nd Floor) Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
  • DROP BOX A green box located behind the city hall on a circular road.
    Applicants must have a gross household income that does not exceed the Area Average Income (AMI), adjusted for household size, as follows:
