Victorian home hits the California real estate market for free, but there’s a catch


WEST OAKLAND, CA (KGO) – A Victorian home in Oakland was listed for free, but there is a catch.

You have to pay to move it.

The home is currently located in West Auckland at 24th to 26th Chestnut Street.

The site on which it is located should become a development of a townhouse of 12 apartments.

Planning documents indicate that the one-story home was built in the late 1800s.

The developer is hoping to reach out to defenders who don’t want to see it demolished.
