Per Sport1 reporter Florian Plettenberg (@PlettigoalAlexander Nuebel will move to AS Monaco on a two-year loan. Tomorrow Nübel will be joining the Monaco training camp in Austria as all paperwork and medical care have been completed. Although the loan is for two years, Bavaria provided an opportunity to call a 24-year-old person back in a year if the need arises.
Update # Nübel: Medical examination and paperwork completed. He signed a two-year contract. #FCBayern can return it in a year. Tomorrow he will fly with @AS_Monaco for training camps in Austria. @ SPORT1

After a period of uncertainty, the Nübel situation finally came to a conclusion – at least for the next two years. The First League, like the Bundesliga, is a fantastic league that fosters the development of young goalkeepers. Former Bayern coach Niko Kovacs brought AS Monaco to the top three last season, bringing Lille up the trophy, beating PSG by one point. Monaco themselves were just five points behind the champions in a hot title race. In third place, Kovacs and his men earned Champions League qualifying place. The ability to withdraw Nübel after a year is best for all parties, and the deal will be more enjoyable if Monaco makes it to the CL group stage. All the best, Alex!
