Trevoh Chalobah ‘no longer available for loan’ renewal contract

Trevo Chalobah was the homebrew breakout star of summer, and it looks like it made an impression on more than just us.

According to Nizaar Kinsella from Goal, Complaints was excluded from the “credit list” at the direction of Thomas Tuchel, and is instead set to negotiate a contract extension. The 22-year-old has two years left on a contract he signed last summer, shortly before heading to Lorient in France for his third and apparently last of three lease periods with the Army Loan.

Chalobah also received a lot of interest on loans this summer, and he has also been associated with more consistent moves towards the likes of West Brom, after hinting that the uncertainty on the loan is done away with, but luckily it looks like this situation will have a much more happy solution for us. We need to take care of a lot of contract renewals, but ideally we shouldn’t have to wait long for that.

Trevo started each of our first two games this season, playing every minute and even scoring a remarkable goal over the weekend in his Premier League debut. Hopefully we’ll see many more of these emotional scenes on the bridge with Chaloba in Chelsea blue.
