This summer, the Bob Jones Nature Center is offering free, all-virtual adult classes to help people become better gardeners.
The series is the result of a partnership with the Tarrant Regional Aquatic District and local master gardeners.
Classes in June will focus on “Texas Hardy Plants” and how to choose the right type of plants to thrive in unpredictable climates.
“This three-part series teaches you about low-maintenance landscaping, tough Texas perennials and annuals, and sturdy Texas trees, shrubs and vines.” in accordance with Centre.
In July, classes focus on cacti and succulents, and August classes will provide tips on shade grooming.
