SANTA ANA (CBSLA) – The well-known Texas real estate developer who appeared on the Lifetime reality show Marrying Millions pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to charges of raping two 16-year-old girls who were vacationing with him at Laguna Beach, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
William Lewald “Bill” Hutchinson, 63, took underage girls with him twice on vacation to his Vista Lane home in Laguna Beach. He is charged with one count of raping an unconscious man and five counts of sexual assault for incidents involving two teenage girls.
A lawyer representing one of the girls said she would testify in court about the alleged abuse.
“My client also claims that she was sexually assaulted by Hutchinson on several other occasions,” said Alex Canney, the victim’s lawyer.
The Orange County District Attorney’s charges, released Friday, were filed just a day after Texas authorities charged Hutchinson with a felony of sexual assault involving a 16-year-old girl at his home in the Dallas area, where he owns hotels and malls. … One of the alleged victims told police that Hutchinson would provide alcohol to minors.
On Wednesday, July 7, Hutchinson filed a complaint with Highland Park, Texas police and was later released on $ 30,000 bail.
Hutchinson did not speak to reporters as he left the courtroom on Tuesday. The judge handed him two protective orders to stay away from girls who accused him of sexual assault.
