CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – In July, construction of apartment buildings at Charlotte continued to grow.
This combination included several property acquisitions for new apartment projects in the South End, as well as in parts of Charlotte farther from the city center. Ram Realty Advisors, for example, will build over 250 apartments at 421 W. Tremont Ave. with the acquisition of 2.6 acres of land, while the joint venture of FCP, Abacus Capital and Big Cypress Capital has just acquired 6.7 acres of land for the multi-family section of the new neighborhood it is creating in the Wilmore area.
Elsewhere in Charlotte, a joint venture between Evolve Communities, Hawthorne Residential Partners and Midway Investors acquired nearly 37 acres in southwest Charlotte for a 340-unit residential complex, and Trammell Crow Residential closed on a 9.2-acre site in East Charlotte for multi-family project with several housing units for staff.
And just outside Dilworth last month at 727 E. Morehead St.
In addition to these developments, other single-family housing projects are also underway in the region, including in Mint Hill, Huntersville and near Concord.
