WXYZ DETROIT – Southeast Michigan and the organizers of the Rocket Mortgage Classic are delighted that fans will return in person to this year’s world-class sporting event. With all the challenges facing the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a big step forward for our region.
He partnered with Rocket Mortgage to raise over $ 2.7 million for nonprofits recruited through last year’s Detroit Tour. Last but not least, more than US $ 2.4 million will be invested in the Change of Course initiative. As part of the Connect 313 campaign, around 250,000 local residents are expected to be eligible to access Internet resources such as computers and tablets. The goal is to bridge the huge digital divide in Detroit by 2025.
