“Did someone say Vegas?” the subject line is declared.

His Las Vegas conference was known as RECon. According to press release on monday With the announcement of the group’s new name, “branded events, including RECon, will also be renamed to match the new ICSC brand.”

The rebranding comes as people increasingly shop online, and this shift only intensified during the pandemic as people worked from home or rarely went outside due to fears about the new coronavirus, as well as because that regular retail stores were temporarily closed last year due to the outbreak.

The conference industry in Las Vegas darkened last year after the pandemic and is only now starting to revive.

RECon, for example, was scheduled for May 17-19, 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and expected draw of 37,000 the participants before its organizers postponed the event.
