Chelsea defender David Zappacosta is reported to be on loan to Fiorentina.
It was recently reported that Atalanta contacted Chelsea because there were “concrete” negotiations on Zappacosta.
Chelsea have previously tried to get rid of Zappacosta by offering the defender a player deal plus a cash deal for Romelu Lukaku. However, this application was rejected as Inter Milan wanted to choose whom to sign for the right-back position.

Last season, Zappacosta made 25 trips to all competitions, scored four goals and made two assists on loan at Genoa and attracted the attention of several Serie A clubs.
Danny Drinkwater, Chiemue Bakayoko, Davide Zappacosta and Ike Ugbo are expected to leave West London before the transfer window closes, and Chelsea are looking to make room for the squad before making any new additions.
