According to the post, attendees will be treated to donuts and coffee from the popular local donut shop Chin Up Donuts, see completed renovations, and speak with the Neighborhood Ventures team.

“Hosting personal events like this gives our investors and potential investors the opportunity to be part of the project lifecycle as we acquire, renovate, stabilize, generate cash flow and ultimately sell each investment property,” Neighborhood Ventures Co said. founder Jamison Manwaring said in a press release. “Plus, it’s a lot of fun bringing our investors together to celebrate milestones along the way.”

Venture on Williams is the sixth real estate crowdfunding project. It was founded in 2017 when Arizona’s crowdfunding laws opened up commercial real estate to all Arizona residents for just $ 1,000.

The Spanish-style building is partly owned by 155 investors who invested a total of $ 1,083,000 earlier this year – an average of about $ 7,000 each. The target ownership period for the property is three years, during which renovations will be completed, rents stabilized and cash flow received. The renovation is scheduled for completion this fall. The target retention period is three years and the target return for investors is a preferred 12% annual return on property sales, it said.
