LLC “RE / MAX” launched a new corporate sponsorship of The LGBTQ + Real Estate Alliance, giving its agents access to specific training, resources and networking opportunities.
The association was founded in October 2020 and is working to end housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity at the federal and state levels. Today the group has 50 branches in 30 states.
“The sponsorship of RE / MAX by the LGBTQ + Real Estate Alliance is an important step in our ongoing work to end discrimination in real estate,” said Mike Reagan, RE / MAX Senior Vice President Industry Relations, Global Growth and Development. “RE / MAX celebrates the diversity found in our global network of nearly 140,000 real estate agents and strives to serve as an advocate for both LGBTQ + agents and consumers.”
The LGBTQ + Real Estate Alliance joins other organizations with which RE / MAX is working to increase the number of homeowners, including the Asian Real Estate Association of America, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers.
