PARIS – Puig continues to strengthen its commitment to green space, most recently with the first € 200 million sustainable development loan from Banco Sabadell.

Over the past seven years, Puig has reduced its carbon footprint by 55% while maintaining a healthy business. The group has four zero-carbon factories that use renewable energy sources and other environmental protection measures.

“Over the past seven years, Puig has also consistently pursued the goal of ‘zero waste in landfills’ at its four manufacturing sites and two headquarters by reusing, recycling and sending waste for energy recovery,” the company said.

In the first half of 2021, the bank provided more than € 3.62 billion in sustainable finance, plus over € 300 million in environmental finance and approximately € 1.85 billion in social loans.

Puig, with 2020 sales of € 1.54 billion, sells products in 150 countries and operates 26 subsidiaries.

The beauty and fashion division includes its own brands. Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten, Penhanligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur, as well as Christian Louboutin and Comme des Garçons licenses. The group’s lifestyle fragrances include Adolfo Dominquez, Antonio Banderas, Shakira and Benetton.

Puig also has a prestigious cosmetics division with the Charlotte Tilbury brand and a dermis division with the Apivita, Uriage and Isdin brands.
