Varma – Sampsa Ratia was appointed director of real estate investments for Varma, Finland’s second largest mutual pension insurance company, replacing Ilkku Tomperi, who announced in May he was leaving for a new job at the Finnish urban development company YIT. Ratia, who will take up his role in Varma on 16 August, previously worked in Avant, Lease Green, Corbel and Aberdeen and others.
Trammell Crow – The company for the development and investment of commercial real estate has appointed Maite Inglis Director of Operations for France and Benelux. She will facilitate the firm’s industrial logistics and investment initiatives in France and the Benelux countries, including all aspects of the development and investment process, economic analysis of land and asset acquisitions, capital structuring, market research, feasibility studies, due diligence, lease and disposal. Prior to joining TCC, Inglis previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer for France and the Benelux countries. Logistic park P3 and has held various management positions at Prologis France and Gazeley Properties.
Main Real estate investors – Salika Heather appointed Managing Director of Real Estate Marketing. Heather will be responsible for partnerships with real estate portfolio management teams, as well as sales and consultant relationships to raise capital for the company’s US and European private real estate, global property and infrastructure securities products. Before joining the director, Salika worked in Walker & Dunlop Investment Partners as director of capital raising. Prior to that, Salika was Vice President of the CIM Group. Prior to that, she was Managing Director at Institutional Real Estate, where she was involved in business development with pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, insurance companies, consultants and Taft-Hartley investors.
LaSalle Investment Management – Beverly Kilbride will lead the newly created European Transaction and Asset Management Unit, run by the Global Real Estate Investment Manager. As part of the reforms, individual team members will focus on specific services and local markets, with four operations managers reporting directly to Kilbride: Jerome Hamelin, Andreas Wesner, Francesco Coviello and Robin James, who will respectively be responsible for all Western acquisitions and sales. continental Europe, northern continental Europe, southern continental Europe and CEE, and the United Kingdom and Ireland. Jacques-Olivier Gourdon was also appointed Deputy Managing Director for France and will serve on the LaSalle French Business Management Committee, while maintaining his role in sourcing and executing transactions in France.

Tonkens has over 25 years of global experience in real estate and finance, most recently with 11 years in Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, of which he was the Group’s CFO for more than eight years, where he was also a member of the Group’s Board. Prior to Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Tonkens spent over 14 years at Morgan Stanley in London and New York, most recently as Managing Director in the Loan Finance Division. Tonkens was also recently named an advisor to the board of directors of the Dutch hotel company CitizenM.
Enterprize Energy – Nuta Chen appointed Chief Financial Officer from Taiwan. David Holton joins the role of business consultant and economic modeller and Woon Sung as a financial advisor. Chen was CFO in Renewable Energy Major and Chief Financial Officer of Ciel & Terre in Taiwan. She has worked for global financial institutions and multinational companies, including Jp morgan, Fidelity, PwC and Foxconn. Holton has held positions at BNY Mellon, Deutsche Bank, DWS and Citibank. Soon before, he worked for companies such as Shell Business Operation and Ernst & Young.
