Paul Glatzel is transferred to Tranmere Rovers on loan for the entire season.
The Liverpool striker will campaign 2021-22 at Prenton Park in the second league under the leadership of Mickey Mellon.
Glatzel was born in Merseyside to German parents, was part of the club’s academy system from the U9 level and represented Germany and England at youth level.
The 20-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Reds in 2018/19, which ended up being captain of the U18 team in the FA Youth Cup.
Glatzel was part of Jurgen Klopp’s first team in the preseason ahead of the 2019-2020 season, but was dropped from the campaign after a knee injury in the Tranmere friendly.
Last season, he played for Barry Lutas’ U23s in Premier League 2.
