Pantheon invites two to lead new real estate investment division

Two executives from GI Partners have joined alternative investment firm Pantheon to spearhead its new real estate investment business, company spokesman Ashley Wassell confirmed in an email.

Roman Braslavsky was appointed partner and head of the real estate department of the Pantheon, and David Elliott was appointed Managing Director in the new business. The positions are new.

Messrs. Braslavsky and Elliot are responsible for launching the firm’s new investment strategy, which will initially focus on secondary opportunities. They will be based in New York and obey Katherine Leaf, a partner in Pantheon’s global infrastructure and real assets team, to which this new business is being developed as an extension.

Mr. Braslavsky was the Managing Director of GI Partners and Mr. Elliott was the CEO of a mid-sized private equity firm. A company representative could not immediately provide additional information.
