More than $ 2 million in federal funds is still available for people in Jacksonville who need help paying their mortgages due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program will cover late mortgage payments for up to six months or $ 7,500, whichever is less. Payments are made directly to the mortgage company.
To qualify for assistance, you must be the owner and owner of a property.
In addition, federal regulations require individuals and families to have incomes below 80% of the median income in the area in order to meet the criteria:

In addition to these income preconditions, applicants will be required to provide proof of late payment and a Form W-9 from their lender.
Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis to eligible applicants.
