For the last few year s Juventus there were not many surprises on the last day of summer transmission window… Most of the time it is a fairly quiet day when only small credit deals have to be made, that’s all. Not many summer transfer windows end with a move like last year’s signing by Federico Chiesa with a watch in stock.
Although Juventus did nothing of the kind a year later, something has been done.
After we enlisted Moise Keane in a 2-year commitment-to-purchase credit transaction, Juventus announced on Tuesday that they signed another up-and-coming young player, PSV Eindhoven’s creative midfielder Mohamed Ihattaren, for a fee of around € 6 million. But the 19-year-old Dutchman will not be teammate with Keane or anyone else in the Juventus shirt this season, as Juventus immediately loaned Ihattaren to Sampdoria for the 2021-22 season to ensure him a regular playing time.
He signed a contract with Juventus until 2025.

Ihattaren has achieved great success at PSV, despite his still very young age. He entered the club’s record book as PSV’s youngest scorer when he scored at age 17 in December 2019. He made his professional debut at the age of 16 in 2018, recorded a total of 74 appearances and scored 10 goals for PSV.
Juventus’ statement on the deal describes him as follows: “The 19-year-old is an attacking midfielder with quick movements and excellent technique. He can play on the front lines, but he can also switch from the entire attacking side. “
