Hull City has loaned Chelsea goalkeeper Nathan Baxter for the 2021-22 season.
The 22-year-old is on loan for a season in the Championship after spending last season on loan from Accrington Stanley.
Baxter has played over 150 leases on loan and has become a reliable stick figure at each of his clubs.
What has been said?
Hall’s head coach Grant McCann was pleased with the signing. Baxter was their number one target this summer and they now have their own man for the 2021/22 season.
He said: “I am thrilled to have Nathan on loan for the entire season. Nathan was our number one target, and after our first conversation, he made it very clear to me that Hull City was where he wanted to go.
“He has a great upbringing, has progressed with every loan he receives and comes to us with great enthusiasm and determination to show who he is. He is a very ambitious guy and very highly regarded at Chelsea, so we are very pleased to have a deal.
“We now have four great goalkeepers: Matt Ingram, Nathan Baxter, Harvey Cartwright and David Robson. I look forward to meeting them every day under the guidance of Barry Richardson. “
The loa army begins to form – Levy Colville went on loan to Huddersfield Town after signing a new four-year contract extension with Chelsea.
