First Southern Mortgage Corp. helped Nashville-based development company Chartwell Residential secure a $ 63.22 million loan for the upcoming multifunctional project The Chartwell at Marathon.

Belmont publishes an image of the garage

Belmont University has released an image of a future garage that will complement Caldwell Hall, an 11-story residential building under construction.

The brick-faced facility will be connected to the existing Thrailkill Parking Garage.

In November 2020, Belmont officials announced the completion of Caldwell Hall in the fall of 2022, while simultaneously releasing a detailed color rendering of the future $ 98 million residential building.

The 268,000 square foot Caldwell Hall will accommodate over 600 students and will be headquartered at 1303 Caldwell Avenue on a 3.7 acre site. Towering now on the south side of Caldwell, the structure borrows from the nearby High Hall of the school.

Belmont hired Catalyst Design Group for engineering and landscaping. RC Mathews is a contractor and ESa is an architect. Each of them is located in Nashville.
