The New York-based developer told about 350 workers that they would be fired if they did not receive the COVID-19 vaccine by Labor Day on September 6.

It is unclear whether Durst’s corporate employees will need only one or both of the COVID-19 vaccines under the new rule. The organization did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for clarification.
Barowitz said New york post that Durst briefed corporate employees about the new mandate in June, and that it is “dictated by the desire of employees who want to work in a safer environment.”
Durst unionists, which include workers, cleaners and doormen, are protected by a collective bargaining agreement, an unnamed source familiar with the situation told The Post.
