ATLANTA, August 27, 2021 / PRNewswire-PRWeb / – When Congress passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act ( $ 900 billion COVID 19 Assistance Bill) in December 2020, it included: $ 25 billion in the provision for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA). This much-needed lifeline was funded directly by state governments and tribal communities to help households that were unable to pay rent and utilities due to the pandemic.
