NUR-SULTAN – Mortgage services are now available in the state real estate database in Kazakhstan. This was announced in July by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Space Industry of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin.
Now people can apply for mortgages online without going to banks or collecting documents offline. The project was launched in cooperation with Freedom Finance Bank on July 1. Digitizing home purchases is the next step, from registering rights to registering a release from mortgage in August.
“This innovation has been implemented using modern blockchain technology, which is undoubtedly the first use case in Kazakhstan and possibly even in the world. It is important for us to switch to cross-platform in order to provide any bank with access to public services and completely switch to the online format, ”Musin wrote on his Twitter.
The ministry is now urging banks to switch to this format so that in the future all mortgage loans and registrations will take place online.

We plan to extend this service to large real estate objects, including multi-storey and residential buildings, non-residential and other real estate objects. The implementation period is December 2021, ”Zhumabekov said.
Automation of concluding contracts with housing and communal services is expected by autumn.
