Real estate celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Days studio album on four special shows dedicated to upcoming autumn tour… At each concert, Real Estate will perform the entire album.

The race begins at Anchor Rock Club in Atlantic City on November 20th. Real Estate then heads to Brooklyn’s Brooklyn Made for the November 22nd and 23rd show, then wrap up a festive stroll at the August Hall in San Francisco on December 15th.

Days is the second studio album by Real Estate and was released on October 18, 2011. Kevin McMahon produced nine of the 10 tracks on the LP, recorded at sessions held at Marcata Recording in New Paltz, NY. Days also includes the track “Out Of Tune” produced by Jarvis Tavenier, which the band recorded at Brooklyn’s Rear House.

Read the Real Estate statement regarding Days shows:

It is hard to overestimate how important DAYS is to our band. We were really kids when we did it. I remember long days and even longer nights in New Finger, NY, working on this record. No one has ever demanded from us the quality standards that producer Kevin McMahon adhered to. He even got us to tune our guitars in between takes! In turn, we adhered to the same standard, and the music is proof of that. Ten years ago, you heard that too, and it changed our lives. So we’re still doing it. We are delighted to invite you to celebrate this album with a few special shows where we will play it in full, and many more! Obviously, the band has changed in countless ways over the past 10 years. Come and help us celebrate this milestone in our past, looking forward to new music and an even brighter future.
