Milan are reportedly authorizing Tommaso Pobega’s lease, with a maturity date set in the next 24 hours.
Tonight’s Tuttosport Morning Edition (via Milan) writes that Pobega will soon join Thorin for the period 2021–2022 under a dry lease. However, the Rossoneri management believes in him and therefore does not intend to lose the 22-year-old player, so the clause on a possible permanent withdrawal will not be included.
Other clubs have come forward and showed interest in the Escape after his lease in La Spezia last season, such as Atalanta, Fiorentina and La Spezia itself, but Granata and head coach Ivan Juric seem to have taken the direction. It will be interesting to see where he plays in their 3-4-2-1 system.
Meanwhile, Daniele Longo from Calciomercato.com, Milan may give the green light to allow Escape to leave today as Bakayoko’s return draws near.
