Manatt Unveils Urban Catalyst in $ 56.2M Mixed Project Loan in San Jose



Manatte successfully represented Urban Catalyst, the Bay Area Greenfield Opportunity Zone Foundation, in a $ 56.2 million building loan for the Paseo mixed-use project in San Jose.

The Paseo project is the first of six Urban Catalyst projects to begin construction this year. The three-story 100,000-square-foot building known as the Camera 12 Theater Building, located in downtown San Jose, will be converted into a mixed-use office and retail space with completion expected in July 2022.

“The interest in renting is phenomenal and speaks volumes about the power of the city center and this outstanding location,” said Josh Burroughs, partner and chief operating officer of Urban Catalyst.
