Manatt adds Ted Hunter as New York Real Estate Partner


Los Angeles-based law and consulting firm Manatt has welcomed Ted Hunter as a New York-based real estate partner.

Hunter has over 25 years of legal and consulting experience with a focus on real estate transactions. He has extensive experience providing legal and strategic advice to investors, developers, lenders, owners and tenants on complex acquisitions, disposals, leases, financing, settlements and real estate development transactions. Hunter is also a leading expert in public-private partnerships.

Previously, Hunter spent 13 years at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, where he led the real estate practice group. Prior to that, he worked for 11 years at Kelly Drye & Warren LLP, where he was a partner. Hunter began his career as a lawyer at Skadden Arps.

He holds a JD from Fordham Law School and a BA from the University of Washington.
