Another late move for Tottenham Hotspurwho clearly decided to leave everything until the window closed, just to piss me off and ruin my dinner plans. Cam is officially on loan for the entire season, this time to Celtic.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is loaned to Celtic for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.
All the best, @ cameroncv2

How Spurs Can Do It Almost One Hour After transmission window closing? Because obviously the SCOTTISH window didn’t close until midnight UK time, giving Tottenham an extra hour to get things done.
I confess I was not quite sure how the loan would work, given that the Carter-Vickers contract supposedly expired next summer. However, Alasder Gold understood this – apparently, Spurs did renew his contract, but did not activate the one-year renewal clause, which was still in effect. It’s weird, I’ll let him explain it.
Sorted out Cameron Carter-Vickers’ seasonal loan to Celtic. Technically, he extended his last year’s contract with Spurs, which extended the club’s option for another year. The same will happen with this move, so there will be no next summer. https://t.co/vOyB3UcDgB

By my calculations, this is Cam’s seventh loan in his career, and for some reason he is only 23 years old. Looks like he’ll be at the club forever, right? I swear if he stays at Spurs much longer the club will owe him a certificate.
Good luck to Cam and I hope he enjoys spending time at Celtic where he can connect with his former teammate Joe Hart again. I’m sure these two sympathize with the spur situation over a bottle of Irn-Bru.
