Citibank hired Liz Bryant (pictured) of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to lead the US retail mortgage business.
Bryant has spent the last 18 years at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in charge of retail and real estate operations. Before retiring last March, she worked as a sales manager for Wells Fargo. Prior to that, Bryant served for three years as Head of Retail and Housing and for over 11 years as Sales Manager for Western Division. She also spent 10 years at GMAC Mortgage during her 28-year career.
Bryant will reportedly oversee Citi’s mortgage sales and try to expand his digital capabilities. According to Inside Mortgage Finance, the bank ranks 25th in the country in terms of housing lending, while Wells Fargo ranks fourth.
