NEW YORK – Internet mortgage marketplace Morty hired Leslie Campisi as CMO just as the startup announced Series B funding.
Campisi develops the marketing function of the startup, including editorial activities, social media, public relations and design. Morty works with Mission North as the official agency. Campisi was most recently Director of Marketing at the fintech company Anthemis Group, and before that held senior positions at MSLGroup and Hotwire.

Morty today announced the completion of a $ 25 million Series B funding round, bringing the total investment to $ 38.4 million. Founded in 2016, the startup provides an online mortgage marketplace that gives home buyers the ability to evaluate competitive bids from multiple lenders and then block and close their loans using an automated platform.
