L&C plans real estate classes



GODFREY – Lewis and Clark Community College plans to offer classes to help people aspiring to become real estate brokers.

A person must complete 75 hours of training to pass the exam for a real estate broker license. Lewis & Clark offers three different courses in real estate, all of which are required to pass the exam:

• Real Estate Brokerage (REAL 135-A6) – 19:40, Monday and Wednesday, 23 August – 13 October.

• Real estate transactions (REAL 136-01) – 9: 25-10: 40, Tuesday and Thursday, August 24 – December 16.

• Real estate transactions (REAL 136-B6) – 19:40, Monday and Wednesday, October 18 – December 15.

• Applications for real estate transactions (REAL 137-60) – from 18:00 to 21:30, on Tuesdays only, from November 23 to December. fourteen.

All three classes take place on the Godfrey campus and will be taught by local real estate specialist Kevin Botterbusch.

Students must be 18 years of age to pass the Illinois Real Estate Broker exam and – have a high school diploma or equivalent.
