Matthew Malcolm joined the law firm’s office in Carmel, Indiana. Krieg DeVault LLP as a senior associate in the real estate practice.
Malcolm will advise on all commercial real estate matters, including negotiations, development, acquisition and sale of commercial real estate. Malcolm has experience negotiating and drafting commercial, retail and residential leases, building contracts, sales contracts, loan agreements, letters of intent, easements, access agreements, mortgages and guarantees. He also represents clients in local land use and phased taxation matters.
In addition to real estate and land use practice, Malcolm has experience working with a variety of private sector businesses on corporate incorporation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, and other general corporate matters.
Malcolm is a graduate of Indiana University Maurer Law School and is a member of the Indiana American Bar Association, the Brooks Hotel of America and the South Indiana Builders Association. In addition, he has received the Best Lawyers in America and Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars awards in the past.
