KBRA assigns preliminary ratings to Oceanview Mortgage Trust 2021-3 (OCMT 2021-3)



NEW YORK–() – Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) assigns provisional ratings to 56 classes of end-to-end mortgage certificates from Oceanview Mortgage Trust 2021-3 (OCMT 2021-3), the main RMBS transaction. OCMT 2021-3 contains 100% QM: Safe Harbor mortgages, and at the cut-off date there are no loans in the pool that are in active grace.

The OCMT 2021-3 mortgage pool consists of 386 first-lien mortgages with a cumulative principal balance of $ 351,471,382 at the cut-off date. The underlying collateral consists entirely of mortgage loans with a fixed interest rate and full amortization. The pool is characterized by a significant share of the borrower in each pledged property, as evidenced by the original LTV WA and the original CLTV WA 67.8% and 67.9%, respectively. The initial weighted average credit rating is 778, which is within the main range of mortgages.

KBRA’s rating approach included analysis of the mortgage pool at the loan level using the US RMBS mortgage default and loss model, examining the results of the due diligence of the credit file by a third party, analyzing the cash flow model of the transaction payment structure, and reviews of key transactions. parties and assessment of the legal structure of the transaction and documentation.
