Property developer Alex Sifakis says neighbors at College Park in Arlington told his group they needed more dining options at the mall.
This is what JWB Real Estate Capital intends to provide, including a supermarket as it remodels a 68-year-old mall on Northeast University Boulevard and Arlington Expressway.
“We’re bringing the grocery store back to the center,” Alex Sifakis, president of JWB, told JAX Chamber’s Arlington Council on July 28.

Although Sifakis did not name the company, it rented out the premises previously occupied by Wynn-Dixie.
With regard to food options, Sifakis also spoke about a food court and an entertainment complex made of shipping containers, which will be built on the territory next to the new apartments.
He said those food tenants should be identified. JWB also wants to make restaurants an inline hub.
JWB is redeveloping a former Town & Country Mall at 903 University Blvd. N. is estimated at $ 25 million.
