He developed his ideas after working for over a decade in the structured real estate group in the corporate and investment banking division of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he rose to managing director and head of the acquisitions group. He focused on organizing and structuring build-to-suit and sale / leaseback deals with the firm’s corporate clients and developers.
His partner David Birch For the first 12 years of his career, he worked in the legal practice, where he focused on all aspects of commercial real estate, including development, acquisitions, financing, joint ventures and leasing. He ended his legal career as a partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, a leading full-service firm. He then served as General Counsel and Director of the same investment and real estate development firm as Berryhill.
