Houston investor buys offices of Dallas Real Estate Group

The MetroTex Realtors Association has sold its long-standing Stemmons Freeway headquarters building to a Houston-based investor.

The largest North Texas real estate organization has been based for decades in a 30,000-square-foot, two-story office building on Stemmons Freeway in Northwest Dallas.

Earlier this year, the Real Estate Association, which represents more than 20,000 North Texas real estate agents, began construction on its new headquarters in Irving, south of Interstate 635.

A new building is on the way, MetroTex realtors decided to sell the old offices.

Houston-based Bahar Holding II Inc. acquired a building in northwest Dallas, according to documents from Dallas.

The sale of the building by realtors is the latest in a series of deals in this area of ​​Dallas.

The hotel is close to the Pegasus Park, which is being reconstructed, which is transforming an 18-story office tower and surrounding buildings into a modern home for biotech firms and non-profit organizations.
