“We are thrilled to expand into the Phoenix market and expand our team locally, helping our borrowers navigate what is often one of the most important transactions of their lives,” said Shamim Rehman, VP and Director of Service at Valon Mortgage in release.

According to the release, the company’s software provides clear, transparent and compliant information without borrowers having to pick up the phone.

Valon Mortgage said the expansion to Tempe allows the company to better serve clients in the West Coast and provides ample scope for scaling through the region’s thriving startup and venture capital ecosystem and the state’s supportive environment.

Tempe Mayor Corey Woods said in a press release that the city has become “a center of gravity for financial services companies.”

“We welcome Valon Mortgage not only as an employer in our community, but also as a modern mortgage option for our residents,” Woods said. “We wish the company great success.”
