Taylor Harwood-Bellis will be on loan at Anderlecht for the 2021/22 season.
The 19-year-old center midfielder, who has played eight games for the first team, will continue his development under the leadership of former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompani, who is the head coach of the Belgian team.
Harwood-Bellis made his City debut with a 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Preston North End in September 2019 and was part of the U18 team that won the 2020 FA Youth Cup last November.
His impressive progress has been awarded a four-year contract in December 2020, shortly before he moved to Blackburn Rovers on loan for the second half of the 2020/21 season.
The defender increased his experience with the squad, playing 19 matches, which helped Tony Mowbray’s squad to take 15th place in the championship.
He follows in the footsteps of Academy graduate Lucas Nmech, who scored 21 goals in 41 games while on loan to Anderlecht last season.
Everyone at Manchester City wishes Taylor the best in the upcoming campaign.
