Guide took responsibility as Fiscal transfer agent on behalf of the Loan Program 7 (a) of the Small Business and Secondary Market Administration, designed to provide financial loans to small businesses.
Following the transfer of the FTA program to the SBA, the consulting firm will now provide lending and financial services and technology upgrades to support SBA’s lending initiatives, Guidehouse said Monday.
Guidehouse entered into joint business partnerships with Wells Fargo, Information Analysis Inc., Select Computing and LeapPoint to enhance the business strategies and technology tools of the SBA 7 (a) program.
Through its partners, Guidehouse will leverage the combined SBA expertise, federal lending authority, corporate architecture expertise and vast technological advances to support the agency’s financing initiatives.

The consulting firm indicated that it intends to establish the SBA’s flagship program and the secondary market as a standard in its nationwide federal lending programs.
