Greater Vancouver Real Estate Record Broke With New $ 42 Million Private Sale

Recently, a new record for Greater Vancouver real estate was broken thanks to a new private sale.

Sotheby’s International Realty Canada reported that the Belmont Estate sale is currently the highest single-lot single-family unit sale in the region.

BUT real estate listing says the sale price was $ 58,000,000.

A British Columbia estimate shows the home sale took place on July 9th. It was a $ 42,000,000 cash sale.

“The Belmont Estate is an iconic piece of Vancouver history,” said Christa Frosch, listing agent for Sotheby’s International Realty Canada. “Since it was listed, it has attracted constant inquiries from local and global buyers, which is a reflection of the property’s pedigree as well as enduring consumer confidence in Vancouver real estate.

“In the end, this bespoke estate was bought by Canadian buyers. This is truly one of the most exceptional housing offerings not only in Vancouver, but throughout Canada and beyond. “

Demand for real estate in the Vancouver metro remains high due to rising prices, the board of directors said.

The Belmont Avenue home is set on 1.28 acres and measures 21,977 square feet.

It has five bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, an elevator, an indoor pool and sauna, a garage for six cars and a separate entrance to the mother-in-law’s apartment.

The three-tiered garden is inspired by the gardens of the Palace of Versailles in Paris, according to Sotheby’s, and includes native adult sequoias, golden spruce, maples, and a hobby garden.
