Georgetown: National Real Estate Firm Seeks South City MOBs

Georgetown (Williamson County) – BUT national real estate solid Last week, at a meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission, a development plan for the construction site of a medical institution was approved.

The 3-acre (139,707 sq. Ft.) Undeveloped property is located at 1201 Westinghouse Road in the South of the city.

Previously, the project was called Windmill Hill Medical Office Building

The project will include: the allocation of a 0.60 acre (2,604 sq ft) right of way for Blue Ridge Drive; 69.99% impervious cover (2 acres, 89,657 sq. M); an average of 12,025 square feet per floor, 36,075 square feet in total, 180 parking spaces and 10 foot wide sidewalks

The external elements of the building will be made of stucco, stone and glass.

Austin Thomas Groll, with Tom Groll Engineering, PC and John Mapes Architect, along with Round Rock based Blair’s landscape and land surveyors Quicksall and Associatesfrom Salado are involved in the project.

The property is zoned for general commercial activities (С-3).

This was the fifth review of this request. The request was previously considered by the commission at meetings on June 16, 2020, July 7, 2020, October 20, 2020 and November 17, 2020.
