Furniture wholesaler Inland Empire moves headquarters to Placentia – Orange County Register

In light of the news on industrial leasing, Inland Empire is relocating its headquarters to Orange County from Inland Empire.

Oadeer, a home furnishings wholesaler previously based in Chino, has signed a seven-year lease for 54,774 square feet at 718 Lakeview Loop Way, a new industrial center in Placentia.

Florida-based EXPO Convention Contractors also signed a seven-year lease for 38,608 square feet at 719 Lakeview Loop Way.

Sean Ward and Ben Seybold of CBRE represented an unidentified landlord.

CBRE did not disclose the terms of the lease, but Seybold said the rented property was “nearly 20% above the all-time high average asking rental rate.”

“Market constraints, coupled with growing demand, are driving prices up sharply,” he added.

Earlier this year, Ricoh Electronics leaves its old home in Tustin for the new headquarters in Rialto in San Bernardino County. In April, Nissei America relocated its injection molding equipment in San Antonio, Texas from Anaheim.

Leases Florida pharmaceutical company in Tustin

The Florida firm took root in Orange County, this time in Tustin.

According to NAI / Merin Hunter Codman, LGM Pharma, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Boca Raton, Florida, leased a 33,488 square foot warehouse at 2741-2745 Dow Ave. in Tustin.

Company last summer acquired Irvine-based Nexgen Pharma Inc. and rents out Tustin’s building as it expands the combined firm.

Jeffrey A. Sebula and NAI / Merine Hunter Codman partnered with NAI Capital Commercial to complete LGM’s seven-year lease.

The owner of the house was represented by Cushman Wakefield. The terms of the lease were not disclosed.

Senior Living debut

Clearwater in North Tustin, a new community for retirement and memory, will present its model suites from 11 am to 3 pm on July 10-11.

This event is open to the public and will feature model tours and an opportunity to meet with Clearwater staff.

Clearwater Living said last year the project represents the first Catholic seniors community in Orange County. It will be open to people of all faiths.

The complex will have 110 serviced apartments with storage, both with private and semi-private options. It is expected to open fully by the end of 2021.

Irvine-based RD Olson Construction has raised more than $ 80,000 for Olive Crest, a nonprofit, child abuse prevention, treatment and education for at-risk children, at the 11th Annual Philanthropic Golf Tournament. The tournament was held at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club on the Santa Margarita Ranch.

Milestones

San Clemente-based landscape design firm C2 Collaborative won Grand Prix in five leading categories and Merit Awards in two others at the 2021 Gold Nugget Awards. The annual awards program recognizes firms that improve communities through exceptional design, planning and development concepts.

The awards recognized C2’s role in the development of Miralon Palm Springs, a project that transformed a failed golf course into an “agricultural” community. The 309-acre community has 1,150 homes located in olive and citrus groves, in addition to public gardens and hiking trails.

Miralon is slated to open this summer 2021 when the club, fitness center, yoga studio, hub, cafes, pools and dog parks are completed.
