From Greenwich to Lyme, which Connecticut cities are leading the real estate boom?

Greenwich remains the dominant Connecticut home sales market with gaudy numbers on prices and deals through May, according to an analysis of state real estate data released by Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England Properties.

But on the east bank of the Connecticut River, tiny Lime has also seen a rise in the number of cities, placing it in the top tier of cities in nine out of 20 categories tracked for sales or trends, up from a year earlier.

The Berkshire Hathaway report is the first sales report since May 2020, when COVID-19 infection has heightened interest in extra space, especially among those living in New York.
