According to the latest Freddie Mac poll, mortgage rates have been almost flat in the last week compared to last week.
For the week ending Thursday, the rate on the 30-day fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.86%, up from 2.87% last week and lower than the 2.99% average a year earlier.
Rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 2.16%, up from 2.15% in the previous week. According to Freddie Mac, the average rates a year earlier were 2.54%.
Treasury-indexed five-year adjustable rate hybrid mortgages averaged 2.43%, up from 2.44% last week and lower than 2.91% a year earlier.
