Fannie Mae Sells $ 1.58 Billion Refinanced Loans


Mortgage giant Fannie Mae has sold $ 1.58 billion in revolving loans or previously overdue mortgages that have been ongoing for some time.

21st Fannie Mae Revolving Loan Sale The deal, which is part of the firm’s efforts to reduce the size of the unallocated portfolio, involved approximately 12,100 loans that were split into four pools.

DLJ Mortgage Capital (Credit Suisse) won the tender for the first and third pools, while RCF II Loan Acquisition (Pretium) acquired the second and fourth pools. The deal with Citigroup Global Markets is expected to close on 26 August.
