Each of these local businesses received US $ 2 million in PPP loans – WPXI



PITTSBURGH – Of a total of 28,968 Pittsburgh Pay Protection Program loans, 78 were worth at least $ 2 million during 2021 as part of the federal Covid-19 Small Business Assistance Program.

From Alikippa to Zelienopolis, 69 businesses or organizations have received loans worth $ 2 million, according to the US Small Business Administration. The SBA manages PPPs.

The second round of the federal-funded loan forgiveness program kicked off January 11 with $ 284 billion and ended in late May. Recipients in the 10-county Pittsburgh subway received a total of $ 2.11 billion. Of this, more than half, or $ 1.21 billion, went to companies and organizations in Allegheny County.
