MUMBAI, India, August 9, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Dvara E-Registry announced a new partnership with Avanti Finance. As part of this partnership, Avanti Finance will use the Doordrishti Dvara E-Registry platform, a mailing and farmer success platform, to disburse and service targeted loans to small and marginal farmers. Dvara E-Registry’s KhetScore analytics will be used in underwriting in another important use of alternative data for credit underwriting. Avanti will leverage the power of KhetScore and Dvara E-Registry through its Krishak Saathis and Doordrishti platform to create agricultural loan portfolios diversified by borrower, crop and geographic region without the need for a physical presence.

Sunil Kumar Tadepalli, Head of Partnerships Avanti Finance said, “In Avanti’s mission to reach underserved and unserved communities, it is critical to use alternative data, this program will be a proof-of-concept for establishing the effectiveness of underwriting at verifiable and non-credit bureau data points.
