Dupage County Tornado Relief: Low-Interest Loans Available to Help Victims Rebuild Destroyed Homes and Businesses



WOODRIDGE, IL (WLS). After a tornado destroyed homes and businesses in Illinois last month, there is more help for those rebuilding them.

The US Small Business Administration is now offering low-interest loans to help people repair or replace their damaged property after a tornado hit Dupage County on June 21.

Loans are available to residents of Dupage County and adjacent Cook, Kane, Kendall and Will counties.

The SBA has opened a Disaster Loan Call Center to answer questions and help residents complete loan applications in Woodridge Village, 5 Plaza Drive. It will operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays until 1:00 pm. The center will be permanently closed at 5:00 pm on Thursday 29 July.

Residents can also apply online and must be applied in accordance with SBA Declaration No. 17037 and not in relation to the COVID-19 incident.
